Origamium

Overview

The Origamium is a facility where paper heralds are sorted and dispatched toward their final destinations. Workers known as origamophiles manage the sorting process, releasing the folded paper messages — shaped as dragonflies, grasshoppers, doves, crows, and other forms — to recipients throughout the fleet.

Operations

Hundreds or thousands of paper heralds may pass through the Origamium at peak times, creating a swirling mass of rustling paper. Each herald bears the name of its intended recipient and is released by origamophiles toward its destination.
