Commanderies

Overview

The Commanderies are fortresses built by the Bravos all over the peninsula. These citadels once allowed them to intervene quickly where danger lurked, when the peninsula was not as safe as it is now.

Organization

At least one Company is permanently stationed within these citadels. In the past, this number could easily rise to three or four. This tradition has been maintained to guard against any eventuality, even in the current peace context.

Function

Upon death, Bravos bodies are brought back to one of the Commanderies. All their stories, inscribed as tattoos on their skin, are recorded in the Register to ensure their memory endures through the ages. Their remains are then cremated and their ashes deposited in the Parliament of Ashes chamber.

Terra Incognita Outposts

Eager to further explore the world, the Bravos have also built two outposts within the Terra Incognita:

• Eastern Commandery (the Ushungi): Standing on the distant shores of the Keleti region, with a small contingent of willing exiles awaiting the arrival of the main bulk of exploration forces
• Western Commandery (the Cebir): Reluctantly abandoned due to countless dangers it faced

The Bravos hope these remote Commanderies, erected with their blood, will serve as future bases for the Rediscovery Endeavor.
