Quetzalcóatl
Quetzalcóatl is a highly learned Eidolon who serves as university professor. His knowledge is comparable only to Thoth, making him one of the most educated beings in Asgartha.
Appearance
Quetzalcóatl has scales that tremble and feathers that change color like chameleon skin. He wears glasses that he wipes and sets on lecterns. He possesses talons used for handling documents carefully.
Academic Role
Quetzalcóatl lectures at university in auditoriums with rows of seats and lecture podiums. When classes end with bell ringing, students filter energetically into corridors heading to next classes. He maintains offices behind auditoriums where he conducts private research and consultations.
He has access to the Sanctum’s forbidden library and retrieves documents from chests stored in his offices. He uses cylindrical cases made from metal and leather to store precious parchments.
Scholarship and Knowledge
Quetzalcóatl’s learning is described as unmatched except perhaps by Thoth. Few can claim to be as learned in all of Asgartha. He handles ancient documents with care, using talons to unfurl old parchments on tables.

367 AC - Showing Baird y Idris Logbook to Waru
Students rose from chairs as bell rang, filtering into corridors. Waru descended steps toward lecture podium. Quetzalcóatl wiped glasses and set them on lectern, then signaled for Waru to follow. His scales trembled and feathers changed color like chameleon.
Waru asked Mack to keep watch and warn of intruders trying to spy. Mack squeaked understanding and settled on desk pulling sunflower seeds from pouch to nibble while waiting. Waru asked him to clean up after himself but Mack showed his rear end. With sigh, Waru closed door.
Quetzalcóatl opened chest and took out cylindrical case made from metal and leather. He opened it and lifted out old parchment, placed it on table, and carefully unfurled it with talons. He asked Waru to approach.
Waru put glasses on and slipped on gloves to avoid damaging precious relic. He read document where ink had faded with time. It was logbook of Baird y Idris, last Shepherd of Sunset Tribe. Every day Baird religiously noted azimuths, coordinates, and location of City of Scholars. City would be first stop for Rediscovery Endeavor.
