Frog Prince

The Frog Prince is an Eidolon who serves as notary, authenticating official documents and providing notarial confirmations for proclamations.

Appearance

The Frog Prince has bulging and piercing eyes. He possesses a golden ball that he rolls between slender fingers. He uses a magnifying glass for document examination and maintains office supplies including quills and inkwells.

Notarial Duties

The Frog Prince authenticates official documents by examining seals, verifying authenticity to ensure documents are not crude forgeries. He uses his magnifying glass to inspect seals and document details carefully. When satisfied with authenticity, he dips quill in inkwell and signs notarial confirmations at bottom of pages.

His role includes confirming proclamations that make appointments and positions official. He provides copies of confirmed documents to involved parties.

Authentication Process

386 AC - Confirming Waru’s Exalt Appointment

Waru brought letter to Frog Prince. The Eidolon leaned back in chair, picked up golden ball, and rolled it between slender fingers. He read letter appearing bewildered by contents - Avkan’s most notorious opponent being nominated as Exalt. He examined Basileus’s seal to check authenticity.

Though nomination seemed strange, many official reasons had been put forward. Waru had offered to be part of vanguard under pretext of monitoring Expeditionary Corps from inside as mole and spy. Opponents celebrated extraction of this “concession.”

Frog Prince examined Waru with bulging and piercing eyes. He grabbed magnifying glass and ensured document was authentic and not crude forgery. He then dipped quill in inkwell and signed proclamation’s notarial confirmation at bottom of page.

When he handed Waru his copy, it became official: Mack and Waru were an Exalt. Waru smiled at confirmation. Frog Prince’s eyes narrowed when noticing Waru’s expression - it would be shame if he started to suspect full extent of machinations.
