Fania
Overview
Fania is a former resident of the Vanderun Shards in Caer Esvander who was a childhood friend of Kauri. Following an earthquake that devastated the region, Fania and her family relocated to the city.
Childhood
Fania grew up on the Shards alongside Kauri, Arib, and Tadeu. After completing everyday chores, the children would gather for their “second, truant school”—informal play and exploration among the floating islands.
Displacement
When a major earthquake struck the Vanderun Shards, opening fissures and causing widespread destruction, authorities declared entire zones unstable and uninhabitable. Fania’s family was among those forced to relocate, moving to the city. The scattering of the community separated the childhood friends.
