Kakoba met with Sigismar for chess game serving as interview and audition. Pieces were lined up neatly on chessboard. Kakoba extended hand and Sigismar sat across from him while Wingspan lay near window.
Sigismar went on offensive moving pawn to d4 (queen pawn opening). Kakoba responded with knight to f6 to stop e4 center control - Indian Defense, classic response. Kakoba considered opening not intimidated.
Sigismar moved pawn to c4. Kakoba immediately responded with pawn to e6. After Sigismar answered with knight to c3, Kakoba moved pawn to c5. They sized each other up, sparring after first strikes.
