Overview
Ndidi Dewitt was Basilissa of Asgartha during Republic period, reigning from 305-315 AC. Hastily elected following 305 AC tsunami that killed Basileus Itzamna ruun-Heeren along with much of government, Ndidi provided crisis leadership during reconstruction period. Commissioned memorial statue and lighthouse honoring Aroro Niski, Yzmir mage who sacrificed herself defending Arkaster from deluge.
Election and Crisis Leadership - 305 AC
Ndidi hastily elected as Basilissa to replace perished Basileus Itzamna ruun-Heeren after 305 AC tsunami devastated Arkaster. Significant portion of government perished requiring rapid reconstitution of Asgarthan leadership during catastrophic crisis. Despite challenges of tsunami’s cruel devastation, guided humanity’s resilience by celebrating joy of survival rather than giving in to despair.
Aroro Niski Memorial
Ndidi ensured statue erected in Aroro Niski’s honor towering over waters with one hand outstretched as if to hold back waves. Commissioned lighthouse built on small island that served as Aroro’s final stand during tsunami defense—transforming tragic memory into beacon of hope and restored safety. Memorial became site where Aroro later awakened as Oneiros, recalled from death by power of remembrance.
