Benzaiten

Benzaiten is an Eidolon who commands giant snakes and serves as a strategic transport asset for Ordis forces during the Rediscovery Endeavor.

Appearance

Benzaiten is a tall woman with eight arms. She rides a colossal serpent and holds a biwa (traditional lute) and a sword among her many arms. Her serpent mounts have bluish-purple scaly surfaces with golden sparkles.

Summoning

Benzaiten can be summoned by tracing Glyphs in snow, which creates a whirlwind that transforms into giant snakes. The serpents curl around the summoner’s forces before Benzaiten appears riding one of them.

Transport Capabilities

Benzaiten’s serpents serve as rapid transport for Ordis troops across dangerous terrain. Each serpent head can carry three riders. She instructs the colossal reptiles where to go through an aerial dance timed to her biwa’s rhythm. By changing her melody, different vibrations run through the group of serpents.

Timeline

~393 AC - Tundra Transport Mission

Gulrang Oduro summoned Benzaiten when The Gestalt ordered rapid reinforcement of eastern contingents. The Eidolon’s serpents loaded Gulrang’s troops for fast, safe transport across treacherous tundra terrain.
