Ozma

Ozma is an Eidolon who provides emotional comfort and projects feelings of unconditional love and acceptance to those experiencing distress or shame.

Abilities

Ozma manifests to comfort individuals in emotional pain. She places hands on heads, strokes hair affectionately, and delivers hugs. Through physical contact, she projects unconditional love and complete acceptance of who people are into them.

The Eidolon can address specific emotional burdens such as shame about lineage or family history. She chases thoughts from minds by placing fingers on lips and delivering kisses to foreheads. She reassures individuals that they bear no responsibility for sins of ancestors.

Behavior

Ozma smiles when approaching distressed individuals. She uses wordless communication, stopping attempts at explanations by placing fingers on lips. She hums nursery rhymes while providing comfort. Her hugs are described as loving rather than perfunctory.

Comforting Young Sigismar

368 AC - Playground Incident

Young Sigismar wept on playground floor after children jeered him with insults about his family (“not welcome here,” “rotten apple,” “son of traitors”). He held grazed bloody knee. This was not the first bullying incident - he had been pushed against walls, locked in toilets with icy water poured over head, and faced daily vicious remarks teachers hadn’t discouraged.

Sigismar felt hand on head and looked up while drying eyes. Instead of teacher, Eidolon Ozma leaned over him. She smiled and stroked his hair affectionately. When Sigismar started to speak, she placed finger on his lips and hugged him lovingly.

Ozma projected unconditional love and complete acceptance through her embrace. With kiss on forehead, she chased distressing thoughts from his mind and reassured him he bore no responsibility for ancestors’ sins. Sigismar dried eyes on sleeves and rested head on her knees while she began humming nursery rhyme.
