Chiziwa

Overview

Chiziwa was a taxonomist responsible for naming the Leviathan Kaibara. The name was chosen to highlight the beauty of the creature’s appearances when it would take flight to swim through the clouds.

Taxonomic Work

Chiziwa’s naming of Kaibara reflected both scientific documentation and aesthetic appreciation of the Leviathan’s majestic movements. This poetic approach to taxonomic classification represented standard scholarly practice for cataloging the great beasts of Asgartha.

The documentation of Chiziwa’s naming was later cited by Yzmir Initiate Suha in 392 AC during her investigation of the Kraken. Suha used Chiziwa’s work alongside Mamello’s as evidence that proper taxonomic records should exist for all major Leviathans, noting that the absence of such documentation for the Kraken was highly suspicious.
