Mamello

Overview

Mamello was a taxonomist responsible for naming the Leviathan Cingula in reference to a species of centipede. This taxonomic work represented standard practice for cataloging the great beasts that threatened Asgartha.

Taxonomic Work

Mamello’s naming of Cingula established the precedent for scholarly documentation of Leviathan classifications. The documentation was later cited by Yzmir Initiate Suha in 392 AC during her investigation of the Kraken. Suha used Mamello’s work as evidence that proper taxonomic records should exist for all major Leviathans, noting that the absence of such documentation for the Kraken was highly suspicious.
