Edire Niski

Overview

Edire Niski was engineer and member of Artificers’ Guild who invented Constructs, modules used by Axiom to control Alteration. Youngest sibling of Niski family alongside sisters Aroro Niski and Nanha Niski, dedicated himself entirely to sciences while sisters pursued architecture and magic respectively. While often credited with unification of Asgartha’s technical Guilds under Axiom banner, achievement truly resulted from partnership with Vaike Swiftwater’s kelonic energy technology. Following 305 AC tsunami that took sister Aroro’s life, Edire and Nanha tasked with rebuilding Arkaster capital.

Avesta Energy Conference

Edire witnessed Vaike Swiftwater’s demonstration at energy conference in Avesta where she attempted to convince scientific symposium that Kelon could modernize aging Transasgarthan locomotives. This exposure to kelonic energy technology proved crucial to Edire’s later vision for Asgartha’s modernization.

Capital Rebuilding - 305+ AC

Post-Tsunami Response

Following tsunami of 305 AC that reshaped economic landscape, Edire and sister Nanha Niski tasked with rebuilding Arkaster capital. Edire remembered Swiftwater and Binbasaki’s kelonic energy work from Avesta conference.

Vision for New Age

To Edire, Kelon was key to ushering Asgartha into new age—one where science could meaningfully improve human life. He invited Vaike to Arkaster, to Guilds’ headquarters, to lead transition of infrastructure—trams, lighting, and more—to kelonic energy. This partnership between Edire’s Constructs and Vaike’s kelonic technology enabled Axiom to emerge as full-fledged Faction.

Legacy and Attribution

While Edire often attributed with unification of Asgartha’s technical Guilds under Axiom banner and driving Industrial Revolution, achievement truly resulted from Vaike Swiftwater’s work setting Guilds on path to becoming full-fledged Faction. Partnership between Constructs technology and kelonic energy created foundation for Axiom’s rise.
