Fasano
Overview
Fasano is a young Yzmir Disciple training under Afanas Korovinovich. He previously worked in the occult library at The Kadigir. His elder sister Matera died during the Battle of the Kraken with the Rediscovery Endeavor in 392 AC. By 393 AC, Fasano accompanied Afanas to the City of Scholars.
Timeline
392 AC - Learning of Sister’s Death
Afanas Korovinovich found Fasano at The Kadigir’s occult library carrying a heavy pile of grimoires, rushing around to prove his worth. When Fasano recognized Afanas, his smile vanished as he noticed the pained expression. Afanas did not need to speak; Fasano understood that Matera would not return from the Rediscovery Endeavor. His knees buckled and his hands released all the grimoires.
393 AC - Training Under Afanas
Fasano experienced visible growth spurts and increasing self-confidence from training. He accepted punishments without complaint, showing stubborn determination. Afanas Korovinovich observed him flipping through spell books he could barely carry a year prior. Afanas caught Fasano with tears at an improvised altar placing flowers, and gave him space for bereavement. Afanas trained Fasano in Sap-enriched tea ritual before they traveled to the City of Scholars.
