Tong

Tong is a veteran Ordis soldier, history enthusiast, and former mechanic who served in Gulrang Oduro’s unit during the 392 AC Mesektet recovery expedition.

Background

Tong served as a veteran soldier in the Ordis military with expertise in mechanical systems and historical knowledge. His background as a mechanic provided him with understanding of airship construction and schematics.

392 AC - Mesektet Recovery Expedition

Tong was assigned to Gulrang Oduro’s unit during the expedition to locate and recover the crashed Night Barque Mesektet. During exploration of the wreckage, Tong’s historical knowledge and mechanical expertise proved valuable.

Discovery on Command Deck

While exploring Mesektet’s command deck, Tong spotted granite formations that appeared to show one figure striking another in the back with a blade. The struck figure appeared to have admiral’s epaulettes. Tong’s discovery triggered collective fury through the Gestalt with accusations of betrayal. Gulrang later proved the formations were shifted by roots and the blade was a geological protrusion.

Black Box Investigation

Tong assisted Gulrang in locating the black box compartment in Mesektet’s cockpit. Using his knowledge of airship schematics, he identified the small hatch on the side of a control panel. The black box was missing from the compartment. Gulrang prevented Tong from broadcasting the theft through his Coalescence connection.
