Bumblebeet

Overview

Bumblebeets are insects camouflaged as vegetables, appearing as half-bee, half-beet creatures with large, round, red bodies and insect heads. Their leaves serve as wings, and they have small feet on their bulbs.

Behavior

Bumblebeets burst from the ground in concerted efforts and fly around in buzzing, busy circles. They travel in groups to settle in quieter locations, digging into the earth elsewhere.

Discovery

Flore observed Bumblebeets in a dream at The Farm in 393 AC, watching them emerge from vegetable beds and fly off to another field. She noted that while stick bugs shaped like leaves or twigs are common in the Kiragata Wetlands swamps, she had never seen an insect camouflaged as a vegetable before.
