Operators

Overview

Operators are individuals who handle and manipulate Constructs, the mechanical artifacts developed by the Axiom Faction. They serve as the human interface with Constructs, trained to use these mechanical artifacts to protect against The Tumult without requiring innate Alteration talent.

Training Requirements

To become an Operator, an individual must learn the Khyalo Alphabet—the symbol system inscribed on Constructs—and understand how to combine symbols to shape complex ideas. Operators master the physical manipulation of Constructs by pressing keys and associating symbols in space.

Function

When an Operator uses a Construct, they combine symbols from the Khyalo Alphabet. These combinations shape complex ideas, and the Kelon core within the Construct allows these ideas to express themselves and materialize within reality.

Accessibility

The role of Operator is designed to be accessible to anyone capable of learning the Khyalo Alphabet, without necessarily requiring innate talent for Alteration. This reflects the Axiom’s philosophy of making protection and technological advancement available to all social classes.
