Porto Novo

Overview

Porto Novo is a Permukaan district of Arkaster, rising from the ashes of the old harbor that was destroyed by the tsunami of 305 AC. The district focuses on merchant shipping, while its sister district Arsenal handles military vessels.

Character

Porto Novo is a bustling district, alive with the cries of fishermen and the constant loading and unloading of ships from dawn until dusk.

Kelon Transport

Regularly, Mistbreakers from the distant island of Suspira can be seen docking here. For several days following their arrival, Kelon is transported from the docks to the depths of The Foundry, via an unceasing ballet of trains and wagons that travel inland to the island of Kemeri.
