AES Concord suffered severe damage when a Tumult pocket exploded at the cloud surface during the fleet’s crossing of The Turmoil. The vessel’s hull sustained heavy corrosion from the mutagenic burst, forcing it to turn back for repairs while the remaining 17 ships continued toward their destination.
