Sakarabru

Sakarabru is Eidolon who watches over Well of Tears alongside Marduk and Nimue. He manifests as stone colossus with combat capabilities used to defend against Black Wave creatures.

Role as Guardian

Sakarabru serves as one of three guardians at Well of Tears, maintaining watch with fellow Eidolons Marduk and Nimue. Beyond passive guardianship, he responds to summons for active combat against Tumult threats.

Physical Manifestation

Appearance

Sakarabru appears as stone colossus of imposing size:

• Mineral blue skin that glows faintly in moonlight
• Skin turns pale purple as ghostly arms appear
• Eyes open halfway when focusing on targets
• Mouth opens to produce roars

Size and Impact

Ground shakes when Sakarabru lands. His arrival creates seismic impact strong enough to make observers’ legs buckle. As he unfolds to full height, ground pitches, shakes, and wobbles beneath his weight.

Combat Abilities

Sonic Attack

Sakarabru’s primary weapon is his voice. He opens mouth slowly and begins to roar. With nothing but his voice alone, he can:

• Bend tall grass flat
• Reveal invisible creatures by disturbing environment
• Intimidate enemies into retreat

Strategic Value

Monsters confronting Sakarabru quickly realize they are no match for him. Even chimeric abominations from Black Wave start to retreat, run off, and head for hills when facing stone colossus. His presence alone can scatter multiple opponents, making them easier to track down and neutralize individually.

Card Lore Timeline

391 AC - Black Wave Defense with Akesha

Black Wave sometimes regurgitates unspeakable creatures requiring Yzmir intervention to prevent attacks on people. Akesha questioned whether two would be enough against threat.

Aberrations were invisible but left furrows in long grass. Akesha saw at least seven, not counting others that might be hidden. Baba Yaga mounted her mortar and flew off toward monsters, laugh piercing air like shrieking bird of prey.

Floating above melee, Baba rained down fiery lashes over clearing as thick black smoke rose into sky. Akesha started uttering incantations channeling as much Mana as possible without destabilizing area. She needed reinforcements.

Answering call, Sakarabru appeared before her shaking ground as he landed. Akesha clung to railing of forest hut as legs buckled from impact. She watched stone colossus unfold to full height.

Mineral blue of skin glowed faintly in moonlight, then turned to pale purple as ghostly arms appeared. Eyes opened halfway and started to lock onto intruders. As he straightened up, ground pitched, shook, and wobbled.

Slowly, mouth opened and he began to roar. With nothing but voice, he bent tall grass and revealed chimeric monsters attacking. Even they realized no match for him. They started to retreat, run off, head for hills.

Now scattered, they would be easier to track down and neutralize. Akesha turned to Taru - their turn to pursue.
