Santa Claus
Overview
Santa Claus is an Eidolon who operates a flying sleigh pulled by reindeer for deliveries. He was considered as a candidate for Storvhit patronage following Kuraokami’s liberation but was deemed too human-centered for the role.
Appearance
Santa Claus appears as a big, burly man with a long white beard. He wears a gold chain, sunglasses, and carries himself with the demeanor of a biker.
The Sleigh
Santa Claus possesses a distinctive bright red sleigh with aerodynamic design streamlined like a race car. Features include red velvet quilted cushions, solid-gold handlebars and runners, and a finely sculpted figurehead. The sleigh can be operated without reindeer by bringing the figurehead to life through Alteration. The vehicle is pulled by a team of reindeer when Santa Claus operates it himself.
Abilities
Santa Claus can climb into the sky and disappear into the clouds with his sleigh and reindeer team, moving unseen and unnoticed. He typically works one day a year for deliveries.
Storvhit Patronage Consideration - 393 AC
Following Kuraokami’s liberation from The Nilam, various Oneiros candidates were evaluated to replace the dragon as patronage for Storvhit’s arctic climate. Santa Claus was among those considered alongside Snow Queen, Baron Kelvin, and Dong Da Shen. All four were ruled out as being too human-centered for the biome survival role, which was ultimately given to Jack Frost.
