Balram Kasun
Overview
Balram Kasun was Baron of the Tribe of the East, one of three Barons who initially opposed Rune’s coalition during the founding of Asgartha. Later became one of the Runic Knights through reconciliation.
Background
Kasun led the Tribe of the East when the reunited Tumult Nomad tribes faced potential civil war. When Cilistro Tighe mobilized forces, Kasun and Ainara Aldana did the same, preparing to clash at Kuningasplatz.
Heshkari’s forces encircled the three Baron armies and imposed an ultimatum to lay down arms. The Barons viewed Heshkari as another rival and were on the verge of rejecting the ultimatum when the Phoenix descended from the The Acus and perched on Rune’s shoulder, crowning him with fire. Kasun bent the knee along with all others present.
Rune appointed Kasun to the Trusted Council alongside both his original allies and the other Barons, forming the Runic Knights.
