Kuningasplatz is the historic meadow in Asgartha where the founding confrontation of Year 1 AC took place, ultimately resulting in Rune’s divine selection as the first Kuningas and the proclamation of the Concord. This location holds profound significance as the birthplace of Asgarthan unity.

In the early days after the Tumult Nomad tribes converged on the peninsula, tensions over resources and power threatened to tear apart the fragile gathering. Three powerful Barons—Balram Kasun of the Tribe of the East, Cilistro Tighe of the Tribe of the West, and Ainara Aldana of the Tribe of the Lower Banks—mobilized their forces at this meadow, preparing for a decisive clash to determine who would rule.

Rune’s coalition, built around the champion Heshkari, encircled the three armies at what would become Kuningasplatz and imposed an ultimatum: lay down arms for a peaceful solution. As negotiations reached an impasse and violence seemed inevitable, the Phoenix descended from the heights of the Acus and perched on Rune’s shoulder, crowning him with a circle of fire. This divine intervention at Kuningasplatz transformed what would have been a battlefield into a site of miraculous reconciliation.

The location’s name—“Kuningasplatz” (literally “King’s Place”)—commemorates this founding moment. Where civil war nearly began, unity was instead born. The site represents the principle that Asgartha would be built on cooperation rather than conquest, on divine purpose rather than military might.
