Maibritt

Maibritt is an Ordis Templar who serves as gatekeeper and holds membership in Order of Syn. She also appears as Eidolon summoned by Sigismar during battles.

Templar Role

Maibritt serves as elite Aegis Templar. Templars are shock troops paid by Tetrarchy and used by Asterion authorities. They are commissioned all over peninsula as some of most elite troops in Aegis.

Authority and Rank

389 AC - Council Chamber Guard

Maibritt stood guard at closed Council Chamber door during session. Gold chain denoted her rank. She carried three sealed scrolls establishing authority:

  1. Templar rank scroll
  2. Order of Syn membership scroll
  3. Scroll stamped with emblem of Libra

Her shield bore Libra emblem. The three scrolls represented three sides of her profession of faith: Assistance, Security, and Justice.

When Gulrang approached, Maibritt stood to attention banging ground with end of shield to warn it was futile to try persuading her. Gulrang couldn’t enter. Message couldn’t be clearer. Maibritt held Gulrang’s gaze but relaxed when seeing Gulrang would only stand next to her. Her orders were to stop anyone from entering, not to stop anyone from waiting at door.

Maibritt outranked Gulrang in every way except matters of Expeditionary Corps. Gulrang noted Maibritt must be envious - Gulrang was one ultimately going through door instead of standing in front of it.

Eidolon Manifestation

392 AC - Summoned by Sigismar

During battle against Tumult creatures, Sigismar planted sword in ground drawing on Mana of Alter Ego. With free hand, he drew Glyph in air before placing it on ground. Eidolon of Maibritt appeared in front of him raising thick shield to provide cover. She was not alone - another Ordis recruit appeared at her sides.
