Overview

Sewati is a Yzmir Mage-Dancer at The Kadigir who trained under Afanas Korovinovich in Sign-based Alteration.

Background

Mage-Dancers perform elaborate choreographies while casting, though they function more as fishermen than dancers — each Sign they trace acts as a lure for ideas on the other side of The Veil, drawing them to a precise location. By creating small incisions in the barrier between worlds, Mage-Dancers allow ideas from The Empyrean to cross into reality and take physical form.

Timeline

366 AC - Water-to-Glass Kata

During a training exercise observed by Afanas Korovinovich, Sewati performed a three-Sign kata that summoned water from The Empyrean, shaped it into a whirlpool fed by Aether, and solidified the spout into a glass spiral, after which he exhaled to dispel parasitic ideas that had crossed The Veil during the casting.
