Elikadura Fjords Region
The Elikadura Fjords Region is a geographic area within the province of Caer Oorun, located west of Caer Oorun’s central areas and approximately 174 miles from Arkaster. The region contains Cebir fortress and serves as the westernmost explored area during the Rediscovery Endeavor.
Geography
Elikadura is a region where mountains are traversed by winding fjords. The slopes of rocky peaks harbor immutable glaciers, and the tortuous sea arms shelter dangerous icebergs. This is where the ruins of Cebir are located, the citadel built by the joint forces of the Bravos and the Ordis.
Access to the region requires sailing through increasingly cold waters filled with small icebergs and dangerous ice floes. The fjord system provides natural harbor protection while presenting navigational challenges.
Strategic Location
The region serves as a gateway to the western coastal territories beyond the Turbulent Shores. Cebir fortress was specifically built in this location to serve as a forward base for exploring these western regions.
392 AC - Cebir Tensions
In October 392 AC, Cebir fortress within the Elikadura Fjords Region became the center of tensions between the Bravos and Yzmir factions. Admiral Temera Singh’s directive was to reclaim the fortress to plan exploration of the western coastal region beyond the Turbulent Shores.
Following intervention by Wanjiru, the Yzmir Faction locked down Cebir, citing a quarantine to seize control of operations. This action complicated Bravos plans for western exploration.
