Clan Ventauri is one of the Lyra Clans that has managed to live in symbiosis with a Leviathan.

Symbiosis with Meander

Clan Ventauri lives in symbiosis with Meander, the Serpent Leviathan. The Lyra negotiated with Kaibara, the Whale Leviathan and protector of Asgartha, to allow Meander to continue roaming the Peninsula in exchange for ensuring that it does not cause trouble within the Oasis.
