Catriona, nicknamed “Cat,” is a Bravos Rescuer serving with the Expeditionary Corps. She radiates kindness and generosity, specializing in medical care and warming victims during rescue operations. Catriona is younger sister of Aoife and serves alongside Basira al-Arshad and Chaghagan during the Storvhit expedition.

Relationship with Aoife

Catriona is younger sister of Aoife, an experienced adventurer. The two sisters are polar opposites: where Aoife sometimes takes too many risks and tends to rush in, Catriona provides calm medical care and support. Despite their contrasting personalities, they clearly complement each other. This complementary relationship was evident at start of their training and remained true during field operations.

During Storvhit expedition avalanche response, multiple victims were pulled from snow by rescue team. Basira al-Arshad observed Catriona summoning the idea of heat itself to warm up an Ordis recruit who had been buried.

Basira felt warm air current caress her face as Catriona worked, making her dream of hot place to relax muscles like she’d seen Lyra doing just day before. Basira felt exhausted from extra effort required barely few hours after returning from previous expedition, not even having had time to rest or finish bowl of soup. However, she didn’t regret answering the call considering all the people they were saving, which obviously justified the extra soreness they’d feel after ordeal.

Deployment Speculation

Basira al-Arshad wondered where Aoife was during avalanche response - whether she’d been deployed on western flank to help or guide little Brassbug army dropped from The Ouroboros, or whether she stayed onboard. This speculation suggests Catriona and Aoife often operate in different locations despite their complementary relationship.

Working Relationships

With Chaghagan, solid and taciturn as rock, and Catriona, dedicated and always calm, Basira al-Arshad felt her little protégé (likely Aoife) was in good hands. The team dynamic balances risk-taking with solid support and medical care.
