Living Snowman
The Living Snowman is a sentient Chimera inhabiting the Storvhit region, appearing as a small animate snowman carrying camping equipment.
Physical Description
The Living Snowman stands knee-high to an adult human (approximately child-sized). It wears a backpack containing a full set of camping gear and a trapper’s hat. The creature makes no effort to hide its presence and moves independently through the arctic wilderness.
Behavior
The Living Snowman exhibits curious and peaceful behavior toward humans. It examines objects of interest and communicates through gestures such as waving. The creature appears to travel alone through the Storvhit region carrying its own supplies.
Timeline
393 AC - Examining Fen’s Snowman
The Living Snowman encountered Fen and Crowbar at the edge of woods at Storvhit, examining the snowman they had built with birch branch arms, carrot nose, and red scarf, then waved goodbye before departing.
393 AC - Mushroom Forest Encounter
Sigismar Synd detected the Living Snowman while patrolling through a forest with mushroom-covered tree trunks and drifting spores with aide-de-camp Nina, and decided to follow the creature.
Classification
Sigismar Synd initially speculated the creature might be a Chimera. Its sentience and independent behavior distinguish it from the Hakupopo (fluffy spheres that drift through air) and other Winter Folk species documented at Storvhit.
