393 AC - Tumult Depression Deliberations

Zaj Ke Va led a meeting at Nilam Spires observatory to address the Tumult Depression blocking the Expeditionary Corps’ path to the southwest signal. When forecasters debated the impossibility of crossing the zone and the nature of the depression, the Satrap cut through theoretical discussions, stating that finding a countermeasure mattered more than determining causes.

The Satrap considered Sylas’s proposal to fly over the Tumult cyclone using the four available vessels—The Ouroboros, The Wayfarer, Mesektet, and Mandjet—as a working hypothesis worthy of further examination. Sylas argued this would provide Yzmir a front-row seat to study the Tumult, which appeared to sway the Satrap’s interest.

Zaj Ke Va also questioned Moyo Chibuye about the Silk larva, inquiring whether the creature could serve as a potential Alter Ego. The Satrap’s line of questioning about Moyo’s “particular relationship” with Silk and the creature’s apparent affection suggested consideration of Moyo as a Musubi candidate.
