The Magisterium

Overview

The Magisterium is a ceremonial venue within The Kadigir where the Yzmir receive dignitaries. It also serves as the meeting place for the High Council that governs the faction.

The High Council

The High Council of the Yzmir, also called the Magisterium, consists of five Magisters. Each Magister presides over one of the five Spheres of The Naali: Eidomancy, Horomancy, Phonomancy, Kinemancy, and Gephyromancy.

Location

The Magisterium sits at the center of The Kadigir labyrinth. All streams and watercourses in the hanging gardens converge toward it, regardless of slope or orientation, providing a navigational guide through the complex.

Features

The chambers are lined with ogival alcoves. Water moves throughout the space in ways that defy physical laws—ascending walls, sliding along channels, and gathering in basins. The dark stone construction is luminescent, with vaults and ceilings displaying stars, nebulae, and constellations. Droplets break from water streams, float upward, and appear to embed themselves in the stone vault among the celestial imagery.

Connection to the Well of Tears

Following the watercourses to their terminus leads to a chasm called The Well of Tears, where all water pours into unfathomable depths.
