Utval

Overview

Utval is a mining city located on the rugged coast of Suspira. It is administered by the Axiom for the purpose of extracting and refining the abundant Kelon found in the region.

Architecture

Utval is a metal citadel resembling an oil platform, made of walkways and tanks battered by winds and black sandstorms.

Living Conditions

Life here is harsh and difficult, but many Asgarthans brave the elements to harvest the precious mineral.

Mining Operations

Each day, Axiom transports head to the Kelon quarries and return with the valuable energy crystal. The Kelon is then loaded onto armored ships—the Mistbreakers—which navigate the Undersea and the Cierna to the capital.

Transportation

Utval has recently been equipped with an aerodrome to more quickly reach Arkaster or Sadracca, and in the future, all other cities on the peninsula. This reflects Axiom Guilds’ increasing reliance on air routes to supply themselves with rare ores.

Maritime Connection

Utval is connected to the capital via the Sundström Route, with Dusk serving as a maintenance hub for mistbreakers along this route.
