Kladiver

Overview

Kladiver is a Permukaan district of Arkaster, the third district whose plans were sketched by Nanha Niski during the reconstruction following the 305 AC tsunami.

Geography and Purpose

Kladiver is an extension of Sjena along Sforafjord. Over time, the arm of the sea has subsided, forming a narrow and deep rift. To counteract the gradual disappearance of this area, Kladiver was created.

Development Challenges

Unfortunately, Kladiver’s relative remoteness has hindered its development. This was further exacerbated by the notable abandonment of the development of Usku and Koru, which were meant to revitalize this part of the city.

Current Function

For now, Kladiver is little more than a stopover for the Mistbreakers and all the boats heading up to the Cierna.

Kasirga Clan Haven

During the Rediscovery Endeavor, some Kasirga Clan families decided to stay behind from expeditions into The Tumult, especially those looking after very young children. These families were kindly allocated homes in Kladiver rather than remaining on The Ouroboros or joining dangerous expeditionary operations.

The separation was difficult for those who departed, including Fen who deeply missed Aruzhan and other children who remained behind.
