The Stage
Overview
The Stage is a Lyra mobile performance venue at The Screed, established in 393 AC to boost morale among the Expeditionary Corps after months of hardship.
Design and Equipment
The Stage is crafted in the shape of a flying beetle with vibrating wings. It serves as the hub of entertainment, equipped with everything the Axiom could provide: giant screens, spotlights, blazing neon lights, and pyrotechnic gear. Like a parade float, The Stage can glide above rooftops to shift locations, though its insectoid silhouette drifting across the outpost sometimes annoys those trying to sleep.
Performances
The venue hosts theater, altavista skits, one-woman and one-man shows, and concerts. Notable performers have included Kasirga Clan acrobats and Jack Frost’s ice sculptures. Scheduled upcoming acts include Nyala, Auraq, and the band BLISS!.
Purpose
The Lyra took on a mission to nourish the spirit alongside the body. After months of hardship, morale among the Expeditionary Corps had reached a low point, and the Faction was determined to address it.
