Prospector Guild
Overview
The Prospector Guild is one of the many guilds within the Axiom Faction, specializing in the search and extraction of Kelon deposits.
Purpose
The Prospector Guild continually searches for Kelon deposits to supply the Axiom’s energy needs. This work has become increasingly challenging as deposits become scarcer in Asgartha.
Suspira Operations
The Prospector Guild knows that the Kelon mines on Suspira are running dry. While current stocks will sustain Asgarthan society for a few years, a solution must be found to maintain the pace in the long term. Despite general concern, some miners dream of an altered island where vegetation can finally flourish when Suspira is fully stabilized.
Importance to Axiom
The Prospector Guild plays a crucial role in the Axiom’s strategy of Kelon democratization. No one has thrown themselves into the exploitation and use of this energy source as fervently as the Axiom, and the Prospector Guild is at the forefront of securing new sources.
The Faction’s engineers are forsaking alternative energies like coal in favor of Kelon because none can compete with its energy yield, variety of forms (gaseous, liquid, or solid), and storage capacity (canisters, tanks, crates, or barrels). For the Axiom, the flourishing of the Faction goes hand in hand with the widespread adoption of Kelon, making the Prospector Guild’s work essential to their objectives.
Structure
Like other Axiom guilds, the Prospector Guild follows the hierarchical structure of a master at the head, numerous journeymen, and apprentices learning the trade. Guild masters sit in the assembly where current issues are shared and legislated.
