Marmo

Overview

Marmo is a Chimera who serves as Subhash Kadis’s Alter Ego, bonded through The Musubi. Originally found as a severely wounded puppy on Suspira, Marmo transformed into a Chimera after consuming Tumult effluvia and protecting Bash from a Tumult singularity.

Origin

During a forbidden excursion among the dark mounds of Suspira, Subhash Kadis heard a lament and found a severely wounded puppy missing its two hind legs and lacerated with cuts. Bash brought the animal home, and his father, a nurse, treated its wounds. Bash rigged up a wheelchair for Marmo so the dog could move around and taught it to follow the sound of his voice and whistles. Over the years, they became inseparable.

Transformation

Marmo began eating Tumult effluvia on Suspira. One day, while protecting Bash from a Tumult singularity, Marmo transformed into a Chimera. Following this transformation, Marmo and Subhash bonded through The Musubi ceremony.

Abilities

Marmo possesses a dorsal antenna that can part Tumult mist, useful during cave exploration and prospecting operations.

392 AC - Cave Exploration with Subhash

Marmo explored cave tunnels with Subhash Kadis, using dorsal antenna to part Tumult mist while Bash summoned a Kelon Elemental to detect deposits.

393 AC - Playing with Oddball at The Screed

Marmo played with Oddball at Subhash Kadis’s workbenches near The Screed’s chasm, chasing each other through scrap piles while Sierra and Bash discussed research.
