Background and Family
Anuncia is the younger sister of Sigismar Synd (seven years younger) and descends from Rune through her mother’s lineage. She was born on the day the Rediscovery Endeavor was proclaimed after a difficult labor. Her brother’s departure to join the Expeditionary Corps was part of a negotiation between her father and Avkan ruun-Heshkari, with Anuncia serving as a bargaining chip.
She learned charm and gentleness from her mother rather than inheriting her father’s draconian nature. Her mentor Abenet recognized her as a master tactician capable of seeing political moves from leagues away.

Anuncia and Amaro Arundhani formally announced their political union and candidacy as a couple for Basilissa and Basileus at The Asterion. Anuncia stated that the unity of the people was what a Basileus or Basilissa must embody, that all voices must be heard, and that Asgartha must stand united.
