AES Tempest accompanied the 18-ship armada crossing The Turmoil, serving as the fleet’s primary battleship and heaviest military asset during the hazardous journey through the cloud sea.
393 AC, October - Halua Trap Operation
AES Tempest served as bait to lure Halua into a trap at a floating archipelago. The battleship fired salvos to provoke the Leviathan, then led it into a depression while ejecting rows of Aerolith barrels that deployed as a mine field. Maanus coordinated the attack from the deck using Morse code signals. After the mines detonated, Tempest fled at maximum speed as a kiloton of stockpiled Aerolith exploded in the hollow.
