Walela

Overview

Walela was Grandmaster of Ugetsu-Fenshen school, a secluded monastery on edge of Vindmark, eastern frontier of Caer Eidos. In 74 AC, she refused Ayxas’s royal decree outlawing monastery’s existence. She was killed during The Magan’s attack that followed.

Defiance of Ayxas (74 AC)

In 74 AC, envoys of Ayxas arrived at Ugetsu-Fenshen school bearing royal decree that outlawed monastery’s existence as part of suppression of independent warrior brotherhoods during The Torment. Walela thanked emissaries for their message but politely refused the Kuningas’s “request.”

Attack came following dawn as entire Magan contingent descended upon monastery. Walela was killed during assault that destroyed school and killed most monks including Suddran and Nadra.
