Caer Kettria
Overview
Caer Kettria is one of the five autonomous Provinces (Caers) of the Asgarthan Protectorate, occupying the western portion of the Anthea peninsula.
Geography
The Province is known for its lowlands bordered by mountains to the west and along its southern peninsula. Most of the lowlands are covered with fields and crops, interspersed with woods and groves.
Regions
Ifu Cove: An area of the Biela sea shielded from winds and tides, consisting of narrow straits, winding sea arms, and numerous waterfalls including the Sabaax Falls that encircle Kestia.
Nutsuwa Highlands: Tranquil expanses separated from the Arami Lowlands by the “Scar,” a rift legend says was created by Rune wielding Excalibur when slaying a Tumult Singularity. The highlands feature giant flower forests, seas of pampas grass, pallid trees with ghost-white trunks, blue luminescent foliage, and ghostly semi-translucent creatures.
Arami Lowlands: Vast plains and valleys serving as Asgartha’s main granary. The landscape contains villages, water and windmills, numerous stone swords planted in the ground from a forgotten battlefield, and Leviathan carcasses whose bones serve as decorated dwellings.
Climate
Sheltered from maritime winds, Caer Kettria’s climate is rather continental, mild, and consistent.
