The Illyrian Quadrant is one of six regions within the Cloud Realm, characterized by tall rock pillars topped with grassy plateaus scattered into loose colonies. The quadrant’s primary activity is livestock farming.
Geography
The geological formations consist of vertical rock columns with flat, grass-covered summits. These natural structures create impressive cliff faces that serve as ideal terrain for climbing enthusiasts and Altrun practitioners. The pillars are arranged in loose colonies across the quadrant.
Strategic Importance
The Illyrian Quadrant is the most stable biome in the Cloud Realm, making it invaluable for fleet operations. The Expeditionary Corps uses the natural rock formations as lookout points and safe anchorages away from the Sea of Tumult. The quadrant also provides concealment from Leviathans, effectively serving as the expedition’s primary exploration hub.
Activities
Livestock Farming
Muna herders use the grassy plateaus to graze their livestock, including woollybacks that were domesticated at The Screed. The stable conditions and abundant grassland make it suitable for sustained animal husbandry.
Training Operations
Bravos Exalts conduct training sessions in the quadrant. Kojo Oduro was encountered here during one such session by Sunniva Vaccarezza.
Mining Escort
Bravos personnel escort Axiom miners on prospecting expeditions to various islands, assessing Aerolith deposits throughout the quadrant.
