Muir Concordia

Overview

Muir Concordia is a lagoon forming an inland sea within Asgartha, nestled within the Peninsula between the isthmus of Caer Eidos and the peninsulas of Anthea, Vagheria, and Kirighai.

Shallow Waters

The waters are so shallow that a railway was built to connect Arkaster to the city of Verbera.

Season of Mists

The Muir Concordia is subject to an unusual phenomenon: regularly, the water covering it evaporates and becomes a persistent fog that veils the entire lagoon. This evaporation does not coincide with a rise in temperature. During these periods, the seabed is composed of mud and quicksands, which surface as the waters recede.

One can then distinguish, through the opaque veils, the silhouettes of waders moving through the sandy mud to fish on foot, as well as sailboats or Kelon barges.
