Horomancy
Overview
Horomancy is one of the five Spheres of The Naali, the Yzmir alteration style. It focuses on divination through the study of idea currents present in the world via Irises.
Method
Horomancy practitioners use specialized techniques called Irises to perceive and interpret the flow of ideas across reality. This Sphere allows them to observe the currents of Aether as they move through the world, enabling divination and foresight.
By studying these idea currents, Horomancers can:
- Perceive patterns in the flow of concepts
- Anticipate future developments
- Understand hidden connections between events
- See beneath the surface of apparent reality
School and Temple
Within The Kadigir, there is a dedicated Temple for Horomancy that serves as a learning place for Initiates. The School is headed by a Magister who represents this magical discipline on The Magisterium, the High Council of the Yzmir.
Place Among the Spheres
Horomancy is one of five complementary disciplines:
- Eidomancy: Invocation via Effigies
- Horomancy: Divination via Irises
- Phonomancy: Manipulation via Psalms
- Kinemancy: Mastery via Signs
- Gephyromancy: Transfers via Sigils
Practitioners may specialize solely in Horomancy or combine it with other Spheres as part of their magical education.
