Age of Rediscovery
Overview
The Age of Rediscovery is the current era beginning in 392 AC, proclaimed by Avkan ruun-Heshkari with the launch of the Rediscovery Endeavor. After centuries of isolation within Asgartha, humanity ventures beyond its borders to explore Terra Incognita and reclaim territories affected by The Tumult.
Proclamation
In 392 AC, Avkan ruun-Heshkari delivered The Age of Rediscovery Proclamation, declaring:
“Let the horns sound to announce the beginning of the Age of Rediscovery!”
The proclamation followed twenty-four years of preparation for the Rediscovery Endeavor, involving all six Factions.
Goals
The Expeditionary Corps was formed with the following objectives:
- Venture beyond the Known World
- Find other Oases
- Locate other Oneiroi
- Potentially discover other human survivors
- Possibly find the source of The Tumult to end it

- December: Exploration of Oorun begins; Mesektet wreck recovered; region renamed Caer Oorun

- January: Expeditionary Corps reaches Storvhit; Belisenki attacks begin
- February: Exploration of Storvhit and Cais Adarra mountain range
- March: Tumult hurricane threatens forces; discovery of Mana Moths
- April: Discovery of The Nilam, a dead world-tree imprisoning Kuraokami
- May: Kuraokami freed; Storvhit renamed Caer Nilam; City of Scholars located
Significance
