The Tisdhera Clan is one of the nine Lyra Sarabands, a grouping of caravans that share common ancestry and customs within the Lyra Faction. The Clan is led by Shepherdess Thalia, one of the Greek Muses who now exists as an Oneiros.

Leadership

The Tisdhera Clan is led by Shepherdess Thalia, who serves as the daily authority representing the Clan’s Matriarch. As Shepherdess, Thalia is tasked with channeling the unruly temperament of all the artists who make up the caravan, managing logistics, human management, showing the way, and keeping to deadlines.

Thalia is one of the Greek Muses and now exists as an Oneiros, serving as the official face of the Clan while the Matriarch pulls the strings from behind the scenes.

Caravan Life

Like all Lyra Sarabands, the Tisdhera Clan maintains a nomadic way of life, traveling from city to city across Asgartha. The Clan’s caravans stop only briefly, constantly in motion and guided by mood or opportunities that present themselves.

Members of the caravan include shadow theater performers, painters, and other artists. Efrén managed a small shadow theater within the troupe, delighting children with stories of princesses, ancient heroes, fables and tales from ages past. He spoke of mythical cities including Madrid, Venice, and the City of Light.

The children of the Clan played together daily once their everyday chores were done, claiming to be explorers traversing mountains and valleys in search of wonders.

Organization

As one of the nine Lyra Sarabands, the Tisdhera Clan is part of the broader Lyra organizational structure where each Saraband has a Matriarch at their helm - an elder who ensures the respect of traditions and the memory of the Faction. These Matriarchs constitute the supreme authority among the Lyra, as each represents an exclusive interlocutor for the Nine Sisters, the Eidolons who serve as their tutelary patrons.

The Wayfarer and the Rediscovery Endeavor

The Tisdhera Clan’s Sahanka is The Wayfarer, a floating city distinguished by its mismatched shacks, colorful roofs, and helium balloons of various shapes. In 393 AC, The Wayfarer followed a brief opening in The Tumult to join the Rediscovery Endeavor at The Screed, positioning itself near The Ouroboros and exchanging light signals before lowering gondolas to the encampment below.

Supporting the Expeditionary Corps

In 393 AC, a large crowd came down from The Wayfarer to The Screed, bringing the Clan’s jesters, harlequins, and painters along with new contingents from each Faction to support the exploration forces. The influx of performers and reinforcements increased crowding at The Mess and other facilities.

Secret Mission: The Phoenix Egg Transport

The Tisdhera Clan serves a covert role in Rune’s Testament—secret instructions left by the first Kuningas. Bravos loyal to the Testament secretly joined the Clan aboard The Wayfarer, carrying the Phoenix Egg that was stolen from Haven.

According to the Testament, the egg must be transported westward to the Phoenix’s nest, where it can be rekindled and the Firebird reborn. The Phoenixian Guard orchestrated this operation, using the Tisdhera Clan’s vessel as cover for the sacred artifact’s transport.

Sitina, a Phoenixian Guard Blade Dancer, revealed this arrangement to Waru Toowoom and Kojo Oduro in 393 AC after they discovered Rune’s scroll in the City of Scholars. The true purpose of the Rediscovery Endeavor was never the Source of The Tumult, but to enable this westward journey.
